My November News.

Hello, everyone!

I’m glad to say that I’ve started my Christmas shopping! I don’t have a lot of people to buy for but I thought I’d make a start and spread out the cost a bit.

As some of you may know I love running (I ran a marathon last year) but I’ve not run any races this year and my overall mileage is lower this year than last year. However, I’m pleased to say I managed a decent distance, last week. 10.5 miles.

Tonight, I’m going to my first Christmas party in three years! Since I have to work tomorrow, I’ll be on my best behaviour…. 🀣🀣

My October News

HiΒ All,

I hope you’re all well and thank you for your continued support.

While I was on holiday, I received the sad news that a really good friend of mine had passed away from cancer, at the young age of 54.

I went to her funeral earlier this month. It was a fitting tribute to a beautiful woman, inside and out. She was the best friend I had or will have because of her kind, empathic support to me through some difficult times. I only hope I’ve been a good friend to her as she had been to me.

I’m sure you do but, don’t forget to cherish people who care about you.

My September News

Hello, everyone. I hope you are all well.

My partner and I went to Portugal during my break; to a little fishing town called, Olhos De’Agua; very close to Albufeira.

Olhos De Agua Beach

We did very little sightseeing, apart from one day when we went to Albufeira, itself.

Igreja Matriz Church. We would have gone inside but it was closed.

On the other days, we spent our time sunbathing at our hotel’s pool or on the beach. One day, at the beach, this jellyfish got washed up. I hope it returned safely back to the sea. I believe it was a flag mouth jellyfish.

We returned home to two very relieved moggies, who enjoyed their ‘holiday’ too!

I’m rested, and ready to work, and since returning, I have already been for several runs and to the gym. Well, I need to get rid of all the delicious desserts that I gorged myself with! πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹

This month’s posts will include breast cancer awareness and hand washing.

I’ll finish this post with a video of the sea at Olhos De Agua.
