My June News

It was my birthday, last Sunday. I got spoilt by my partner. He bought me flowers, chocolates, gin, (and I write a health blog! 🤣) a cafetiere, walking shoes, a hoodie and he took me out for a meal on the Saturday.

On Sunday, I had lunch with my family at a pub in Yorkshire, North-East of the UK. It was so dog-friendly that there was even a little menu, especially for dogs. Hence, this little guy enjoyed his sausages.

This week I’ve had a blood test to determine if I’ve got coeliac disease. I do have vague symptoms and with it being in my family, I’ve decided to get myself tested. If I have got it, this blog might change!

I’ve had a bit of hay fever this month which is the first time in a few years. However, I feel a lot better at the moment. I’ll keep eating my berries because of their antihistamine properties.

Next month, I’m going to write about everyone’s hated pests; mosquitos. What can we do to repel them? I always get bitten by them; in fact, insects love feasting on me, full stop!

My ankle once swelled up like a balloon, years ago when I was in Scotland. I had jeans on so how on earth did they get to me, I don’t know. And, all this gunk came out. I had to go to a local pharmacy to buy large dressings and I was asked if I was bitten by a snake! Luckily for you, I don’t have a photo.

If it’s hot where you are, please be careful and remember to keep yourselves hydrated.

Thank you all for your interest and support.
