Today (12th November) is World Pneumonia Day. In 2019, pneumonia was responsible for 2.5 million deaths; tragically, 740,180 of those deaths were children. Read this post to help you recognise its symptoms and to learn what could help to prevent you from getting it.
November is National Epilepsy Awareness Month. As many as 1 in 26 people will develop epilepsy during their lifetime. Here is my essential guide to epilepsy.
I hope you’re all well and thank you for your continued support.
While I was on holiday, I received the sad news that a really good friend of mine had passed away from cancer, at the young age of 54.
I went to her funeral earlier this month. It was a fitting tribute to a beautiful woman, inside and out. She was the best friend I had or will have because of her kind, empathic support to me through some difficult times. I only hope I’ve been a good friend to her as she had been to me.
I’m sure you do but, don’t forget to cherish people who care about you.
If you haven’t already, please feel to check out these posts that I wrote this month.
