I have started taking vitamin D2 which is safe for vegans as it isn’t animal-sourced like D3 and it’s definitely a good vitamin supplement to have for health benefits, especially in these colder months of the year! Great post!

A really interesting read about something we usually take as a supplement. I’d let it slip my mind, despite the time of year. Thanks for the reminder!

A very concise round-up. Vit D is so, so important. Many people won’t necessarily think about it unless they have a need to think about – It was found I had virtually non-existent levels and osteopenia, so now I definitely think about it! It’s easier to make changes or take supplements now to keep levels healthy, than to find the damage is already done. Great post!

I didn’t even think about it until about 3 years ago when I got prescribed it because a blood test showed my Vit D levels were low. Thanks for your comment.

As a black person in a cold northern country, my vitamin D levels are always low so I have to take a vitamin D supplement
